Bye Bye Paci

Well it has officially been a month since Lauren got rid of her pacis...woo hoo!! She was getting to where she had it in her mouth most of the time and would hardly take it out to talk. This is the longest we have let any of our kids have a paci. She just loved it and I hated to take it away, but with a new baby coming in October we knew getting rid of it was a must! I got a little shoe box and had Lauren put all of her pacis in it. I told her that the Paci Fairy would come that night and take her pacis to other little babies who need them. Then the Paci Fairy would leave her something special as a thank you. She was excited about getting a surprise in the morning! The next morning, Lauren woke up to a Tinker Bell Beauty Set. I didn't get a picture...ugh! But she was SUPER excited about her surprise and has only asked for her pacis a few times. Sammy was not too happy with Lauren getting a surprise. She wanted to know why the Paci Fairy didn't leave something for her too! Oh, we have many lessons to learn!
