Lauren is 3!

Our tradition at home is to for the kids to have a "birthday balloon" on the day of their birthday. Russell will usually stop home from work and pick one up and we will tie the balloon to their bed for the morning of their birthday. They LOVE their birthday balloon!

We celebrated Lauren's actual birthday here at home with a chocolate cake that the kids decorated with sprinkles. It was VERY yummy!!

I am 3!

Laruen's 3rd Birthday Party

We celebrated Lauren's birthday with a party at our house. We set up a bounce house in the front yard and just let the kids play. They all had so much fun! Lauren loved that the party was for her. She would say, "It's my birthday party and my friends are coming over." We served hot dogs for lunch.I let Lauren pick out her pretty Barbie birthday cake at Brookshire's.Lauren really enjoyed opening up all of her birthday presents. Sammy was very excited too because she knew that she would get to play with all of the new toys too!

Emma's 2nd Birthday

We all met up at Chuck E. Cheese for Emma's birthday. She turned 2 on August 10th. My kids LOVE Chuck E. Cheese! They had fun celebrating Emma's birthday.Happy birthday to Emma!

Sammy used to the scared of Chuck E. Cheese. She was so proud of herself for giving him a high five. The kids got Emma a baby doll and a baby set that included a swing, stroller and baby bed.Playing the games was the best part!

Six Flags

The kids have been asking and asking to go back to Six Flags. So on Tuesday, August 5th Russell took a 1/2 day off of work and we went. We got there around 5:30 in the evening and left around 10:15. It was perfect because the heat started to wear off by 6:00. We started off with dinner at Six Flags and then rode every ride we could find...of course I couldn't ride anything being pregnant with Tim so I watched from the sidelines.

You have to get a picture in the big chair at Six Flags! And then a silly picture of course!

Summer Fun

Summers are so much fun! The kids love to be outside and play in the water....they are fish!!

Austin, Luke & Sam at the neighborhood pool.

Austin likes his boogie board that he got last year in Corpus Christi.

I think Sammy's motto in life is going to be "no fear". She loves to swim and jump off the side of the pool while yelling "CANNON BALL!"

The kids love their cousin Michael. We don't get to see him too often but we sure have fun with him when we do! Michael is so good with the kids. He is really like a big brother for Austin. We took Michael to the waterpark in Allen for some outdoor fun! Afterwards, we went back to Honey and Sugar's for a pizza lunch.

Austin and Michael having a water war.

When you are a mom, NOTHING is ever just yours! You have to share your time, space, food and Big Gulps!

Emmye's 5th Birthday Party

Emmye and Sammy are best little buddies! Emmye had a circus themed birthday party that turned out great! The girls had so much fun! They got to play games, jump in a bounce house, see clowns and have yummy food! Sammy got her face painted like a princess.Happy Birthday Emmye!
What is a circus without a picture opportunity?

4th of July Trip

We took a trip to Austin for 4th of July. We left on Thursday the 3rd and came back Sunday the 6th. We went to visit Russell's mom, Aunt Joyce, DeAnn, Tracy, Gary and Jamie. The kids had fun. One of their favorite things to do is walk down to the golf course by Mimi's house and see the deer. Deer are all over the golf course at dawn and in the late afternoon. On Friday, July 4th, we took the kids to New Braunfels to meet up with the Servati's to go tubing down the river. The kids had a BLAST!! The river was beautiful! It is a spring fed river so the water was clean and clear! We got to the river around 10:30 am and floated for a couple of hours. We had a Bar-B-Q lunch with the Servati's afterwards. I didn't get any pictures of us on the river because I was worried about ruining my camera. But I did get pictures of the kids in the car on our way home. Sammy was so tired that she fell asleep with a little rubber duck in her mouth.Lauren was so tired that she fell asleep while digging through the snack bag.
That night we watched fireworks from our camp grounds by Marble Falls Lake. It was a great fireworks show...the kids loved it!

On saturday night, Mimi's neighborhood had their own fireworks show by the lake. We sat in the boat on the lake to watch the show. It was the best and longest fireworks show I had ever seen!
